NIU KQi2 Pro Electric Scooter

Speeds up to 28 km/h with a 40 km range. Great for daily commuting. Front tire was recently replaced so that’s brand new. Retail is $850 CAD. I’m open to offers. Looking to sell and upgrade. The scooter has an intermittent battery issue. Once the battery drops to around 50%, the speed cuts out and it shuts off. When you restart it, the battery shows one blinking bar but you can still ride short distances to finish your trip. After a full recharge it reads full again and works fine. Someone handy with e-scooter maintenance could probably sort this out, or you could send it to NIU directly. As-is, it still works well for regular short commutes. I just wouldn’t count on it for longer uninterrupted rides until the issue gets looked at. Could be a great deal for someone willing to put in a bit of work, or even as-is if your commute is short. When the battery is fully charged, regenerative braking won’t kick in until you’ve used about 5% of the charge. That’s normal for these scooters, not a defect.
