Measurements can be seen in the photos. Beautiful signed paper casting titled “The Ladder” by Albuquerque artist John Saunders. This unique artwork is created using a traditional handmade process where 100% cotton rag paper pulp is pressed into a mold taken from a hand-sculpted clay relief. The piece features a classic Southwestern scene with a kiva ladder and draped blanket, presented against a warm terracotta mat and finished in an elegant gold-tone frame. Saunders studied at the American Academy of Art in Chicago and is known for his distinctive paper relief works that combine sculpture and printmaking techniques. A wonderful collectible piece of Southwestern art that adds texture and character to any interior.
