Vintage Chinese Chess Set Carved Dragon Phoenix Inlaid

This is a vintage, Mid 20th Century Carved Chinese Chess Set. Made of Soapstone and Serpentine Jade. Tile inlay with wood surround featuring carved dragons and phoenixes. When closed, attention to detail shows a brick pattern on three sides (not bottom). Brass hinges and handle. A drawer slides out on each side to house the chess figures; drawers are lined in a red material with elastic to keep the figures in place. In excellent condition with no scratches or marks.
