Bonavita Gooseneck Electric Kettle (base not working)

This is a Bonavita gooseneck electric kettle. The base stopped working. Repairable if you know your way around a circuit board. Based on my research one of two parts failed and would need to be replaced. Free for pick up at yonge and eglinton
