These sofa set is nearly 30 years old.
It will require reupholstery!!
The fabric has wear and tear, including marks from pens, etc throughout the years.
The wood and frame are SOLID. You will not find a solid wood foundation like this these days.
It will be a shame to through this strong wood foundation to waste.
The springs are also in good condition, no signs of sinking in.
