Nixon Home Base Black Stainless Steel Band Digital Watch w/ Original Box I list this watch in "good" condition for a number of reasons. I'll list them here. If you're a watch collector - there's a few things wrong with the box (see pics). Firstly, the black foam insert that the watch rests in as you slide it in and out of the box is coming apart at the seems. This is only happening on 2 outta 4 of the corners and is only all the way down from top to bottom on one of the corners. Secondly, there's a chunk of the soft foam missing. The watch itself rests in a holder formed out of soft and less dense foam the the dense foam insert. There is a small chunk of it missing (see pics again). Now - as for the watch itself - it's been well worn so there is some wear and tear on it. Firstly, there is a reasonably large scratch on the face of the watch - etched into the glass face (see pics, I circled it in red). Secondly, this was the stainless steel band version - not the silicone band version, and so the black coated stainless steel watch band has some parts on it where the black has been worn off of it and the silvery stainless steel color is visible. I took a picture of the watch band that has the most wear and tear on it so you can see the worst of it (see pics). Regardless, this is still a GREAT watch that I just had serviced with a new battery put into it perhaps just under a year ago in February 2025 so it should be good to go battery-wise for another 4 years or so. It's a model that Nixon is no longer making so again, if you're a collector - here's your shot at a good watch for an affordable price. As you can see from the box - Brand New this watch was $150 + taxes & possibly shipping. I'm asking $85 for it. Thanks.
