Foam mats that connect (8 total). All pieces are present, including one extra "edge" piece. They can be attached in various different shapes and formations. We bought them to pad our children's play rooms, but they can be used for a work out area, automotive/garage, and plenty of other options. Each piece is 24" x 24" (not including edges) All pieces together are 97" x 50" (including edges) *Amazon picture is not exact set, but similar.
