Beautiful vintage Knechtel Furniture dresser, thoughtfully refinished to give this quality Canadian-made piece a fresh, elevated modern organic aesthetic while preserving its original character. The wood top, base and tapered legs were completely stripped and stained, bringing out the warmth and natural grain of the wood. The body and beautifully sculpted curved drawer fronts were refinished in Fusion Mineral Paint Cashmere — a soft, warm neutral that pairs beautifully with the natural wood tones. One of my favourite details is the dresser’s original sculptural brass hardware. Its distinctive mid-century-inspired design has been preserved and adds just the right amount of warmth and character. Six generously sized drawers provide excellent storage, while its 50” width makes it a versatile piece for a bedroom, guest room, nursery or even an entryway.
