Vintage Laurentian Pottery Chicken Clay Baker - Model #229

Add a piece of Quebecois history to your kitchen with this iconic "nesting hen" clay baker. Produced by the renowned Poterie Laurentienne, this hand-painted ceramic piece is as functional as it is decorative. This piece has never been used and is in good vintage collector condition. As shown, there are some small chips on the underside lip of the lid, which does not detract from the esthetics of this piece. There is also a very small hairline crack that is only on the inside, not all the way through. See pictures. Instructions on how to use this clay baker can be found online. It can be used as either a roaster or casserole dish or for decoration. From beak to tail it is 14" long, approximately 7" high, and 8.5" wide.
