The LED light on the drill won't turn off until the battery is removed. It's not a deal breaker as this tiny LED light uses such little power that it doesn't affect the battery life. Drill can be used as normal with light left on for the duration of the job and only remove the battery between long periods of non use (coffee breaks or lunch time) and if you pair this drill with larger capacity batteries you definitely won't ever need to worry.
