Antique Arts & Crafts Style Cast Iron Fireplace Fire Basket / Grate - $125 Donlands O'Connor planter Wonderful old heavy cast iron fireplace fire basket / grate, likely early 20th century and very suited to an Arts & Crafts, Tudor, bungalow or cottage setting. Approximate measurements: • 21" wide at the front • 10" deep • 16" high Heavy cast iron construction with decorative front bars and corner details, solid back panel and original rear wheels / castors. Stands well up off the floor on its legs, allowing good airflow underneath the fire. Includes the original removable inner grate. Condition: Very old and sold as found, with substantial surface rust and wonderful aged patina. There is a crack in the back panel and the removable inner grate is broken, as shown in the photos. Despite these age-related issues, the fire basket remains functional.
