The siderails are strengthend to take additional weight, the bunk bed has been tested to take FOUR adults to a max weight of 18 stone (114kg) each. To enable maxium strength the beds do not seperate, this makes for very sturdy Bunk bed. Used double bunk bed. Fantastic for kids. Or even when have guest over. Comfortably sleeps 4 adults on it.
