Beautiful handmade leather box, made in and bought in Cape Verde (from Akuaba Art & Decor, still has label on). Could be used to store jewellery, stationary, craft supplies, souvenirs/mementos, etc. Dark brown, with beautiful detailing on the top, around the sides, inside and on the bottom. The top/lid is attached to the base along one edge (hinge opening) and a leather string holds it in place when the box is open. Lockable. Leather tab attached to the lid has a slot in and passes over a metal ring attached to the base, and a padlock or even a ribbon can be passed through the metal ring to lock/hold closed. Base is 27 x 26 x 10cm. Interior compartment is 23 x 22 x 8.5 cm. Stores a lot, see photos with jewellery and a lot of free space still. Selling because it doesn't fit in the space I bought it for, but if it did I'd be keeping it, it's beautiful.
