Canadian Tennis superstar Bob Bedard’s face graces this 70s throwback tennis set. Some of his many accomplishments are listed on the side of the box. He later went on to teach and coach at prestigious St. Andrew’s College while still playing, eventually entering the senior’s tour. Superior graphics are a great example from the period. Perfect for addition to a tennis lover’s collection, display at a tennis club, or who knows maybe you could still win a set or two with it? While I would love to say this is unused as the racket is near perfect the fact that the ball tube is open means someone likely took it for a spin then stored it away only to be rediscovered recently. The racket has a couple very minor splits in the paint from drying with age. The unpictured yet included tennis balls are quite worn though the tube is excellent and still has it’s protective cardboard sleeve. The box has some water damage at the bottom - pictured- that can be seen on both the inside and out. There is also general vintage wear, however it displays very well overall. Though I’m only listing one of these for now I actually have two in very similar condition. If you are interested in both please reach out. Box is ~27.5” x ~11.75” x ~3”.
