Both works were acquired from the same NYC estate and are signed “Maroulis ’85.” CANVAS #1 – 59" W × 52" H • Blistering reds with black diagonal strokes and rich impasto • Painted in direct response to the New York Times article “U.S. Will Pay Out Millions Over ’82 Pan Am Jet Crash” (Aug 26 1985).
