2 West German MidCentury vintage Fat Lava Vases Mint Scheurich

The glazes in these vases were so varied it's a real find to have a matching pair. Both are made by the famous West German company 'Scheurich Keramik', who produced so many of the now iconic midcentury vases. These are certainly getting more and more difficult to find and these are from my own personal collection which I am thinning down as I am running out of room. I always think of this glaze style as coffee with rich espresso -- Cappuccino foam and caramel on the bottom. These elegant brown tones match almost any decor - an elegant classic. Works perfect with teak and other woods. I added a close-up of the wonderfully lava froth. The tall vase shape is well documented to be Scheurich. The size/model number is 317-30 (which means it is 30 cm tall - Which translates to approx. 12". No chips or cracks or any other flaws and marked on the bottom. The round one is a very desired shape and it too is perfect with it's number being 284/19. (Which means it is 19 cm tall - approx 7.5") Thank you for looking at these items.
