This is a vintage French "Notre Dame de Lourdes" music box, produced between the 1920s and 1950s. It depicts the famous Catholic apparition of the Virgin Mary to Saint Bernadette Soubirous at the Grotto of Massabielle in Lourdes, France. The material is cast spelter with an antique silver-tone or bronze-patina finish. The base reads "NOTRE DAME DE LOURDES". It features a mechanical wind-up music box with Janeto movements. The letters "D.S.R." are stamped on the back. Pickup is at 58th and 7th Ave in midtown Manhattan.
