Antique 1918 WWI Military Trading Card Lot of 5

Antique 1918 WWI Military & Aviation Trading Cards - Vintage Lot of 5. Up for sale is a genuinely rare piece of Great War history: a collection of five (5) original, antique World War I-era military trading cards. Produced circa 1918–1920, these genuine pieces of 100+ year-old historical ephemera are classic examples of early 20th-century "strip cards" or candy/tobacco issue cards from the home front mobilization era. This vintage lot offers an incredible cross-section of early military aviation, artillery tech, key leadership, and divisional heraldry from the First World War. Historical Checklist Included in This Lot: 1. Card #112: Rigid Dirigible Airship (R-33) – A fantastic visual representing the dawn of military aviation and early twentieth-century zeppelin warfare. 2. Card #135: 88th Division "Cloverleaf" Insignia – Beautifully preserved military unit emblem. Features the historical period typo on the text border ("Trained at Camp Dodge Minnesota, Iowa, Nerbraska [sic] and Dakota Troops"). 3. Card #39: Gen. R. L. Bullard, U.S.A. – Portrait of the legendary Lieutenant General and commander of the Second United States Army during the major Western Front campaigns. 4. Newton Baker, Sec. of War, U.S. – Portrait of President Woodrow Wilson’s Secretary of War, the man who engineered the American draft and military buildup. 5. Card #83: American Gun Crew Manning a 3-Inch Anti-Aircraft Gun – Action illustration of early anti-aircraft artillery crews in the field. Condition & Collector Notes: These are authentic century-old artifacts and are sold in vintage, as-is condition as shown. They exhibit a beautiful, genuine aged patina with expected uniform toning, rounded corners, minor creasing, and edge wear typical of fragile, wartime paper stock. Condition Alert: Card #83 (Anti-Aircraft Gun) has substantial paper loss/damage to the upper right corner, as shown. The other four cards remain intact with excellent historic eye appeal for their age. Please inspect the high-resolution photos closely to assess condition. A remarkable find for any serious World War I historian, antique ephemera archive, or vintage non-sports card collector.
