If you are a fan you NEED to have a full set of First Edition Harry Potter originals. These are all Hard Covers with Dust Jackets. They are from Raincoast and feature the same original art that the Bloomsbury editions from England have and they are ALL first editions. I have described the various features of each with their title below. They are all in great condition and would look super on your shelf or be a really special gift for that Wizard - or Muggle - in your life. These early editions are getting very hard to find - especially in good condition. 1 - Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone - ***Note this book is so early it still has the famous 'Wand' misprint errors on page 53 where it is listed twice on Harry's school shopping list. It also still has the "highchair" error on page 8. On top of that the credited name is Joanne Rowling, which was changed to JK Rowling, in later editions. The Dust Jacket has a closed tear with crease on the top right . The spine is not faded and the book does not tilt. The book is a first edition, eleventh printing and has no writing. The illustration is by Thomas Taylor. 2 - Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets - The Dust Jacket has a small closed tear on the top left, a small scratch and a crease on the inside back & front cover flaps. The spine is not faded and the book is not tilting. The book is a First Edition, seventh printing and has no writing. The Illustration is by Cliff Wright. 3 - Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban ***Note this book is so early it still has the 5 misprint errors that were later corrected on pages: 36, 38, 40, 92 and 147. The Dust Jacket has practically no wear, is not price clipped and has no fading on the spine. The illustration is by Cliff Wright. The book is a first edition, sixth printing, with a neat ownership name on the first page and no lean. 4 - Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire ***Note this book is so early it still has the misprint error of Harry's father coming out before the mother which was later fixed - page 579. The Dust Jacket is really quite perfect with no price clipping and no fading on the spine. The book is equally fine and a first edition, fifth printing. It has no writing or lean. The illustrator is Giles Greenfield. 5 - Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix - The Dust Jacket has the lightest of previous usage wear but it is not price clipped or faded on the spine. The book is a first edition, third printing, with a neat name on the first page and is solid with no missing pages and does not lean. Illustration by Jason Cockcroft. 6 - Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince ***Note - this book still has the error of the 'eleven O.W.L.S' printing error on page 99 - which was corrected in later editions. The Dust Jacket has just the tiniest touch of usage and is not price-clipped or faded on the spine. The book has no writing or lean and is a first edition, fifth printing, and is illustrated by Jason Cockcroft. 7 - Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - The Dust Jacket has some minor previous ownership spurs but is not price-clipped nor faded on the spine. The Book has no writing, a tiny touch of a lean, is a first edition, seventh printing and is illustrated by Jason Cockcroft. I am selling these books as I need to thin down my book collection which has grown huge over years. We are in White Rock - right by the Semiahmoo Mall. We are a - no smoking - no pet - home.
