Huge RARE Vintage 10" Kugel Silver Crackle Glass Ball Christmas

This Kugel is BIG - at 10" across (not counting its hanging ring) it is the largest I have ever seen. Take a look at the picture where I show it next to my hand or the regular sized small pink kugel. This is sure to be a show piece as its size is a real attention-getter. It is also very heavy at 4 pounds. A long time ago it must have been coated in red, as it has hints of it below the cap and a tiny bit in the cracks. But personally that never bothered me all the years that I displayed it, it just gives it an almost imperceptible warm tinge. The ball has no damage and the cap is on very securely. It has some distress to the inner mercury glass coating, but the crackle hides this. This one is special. Thank you for looking at this extra special ball. I am selling it as I need to thin down my Christmas collection which has grown huge over the years - I used to decorate a different theme every year.
