Dept 56 Santa + Elf Animated Flight Test North Pole Village

A snowy village is always fun - but when there is movement it simply charms. Here we have Santa testing out a remote control airplane (but we actually know he's playing don't we - lol) the elf behind him is watching through binoculars… seems like they had a bit of a failure on the orange plane on the ground - chuckle. It is in beautiful condition and it still in it's original Styrofoam although I no longer have the box sleeve. Note that the delicate antenna of Santa's' remote is perfectly intact. The adaptor is in its original box and is original to the machine and the mechanism runs smoothly without hesitation. This piece is part of the North Pole Village and was retired several years ago and is actually pretty hard to come by, so here is your chance to add some fun to your village. When the plane attachment is on the piece is approx. 9.5" tall. I need to thin down my Christmas collections which have grown huge over years of collecting - I used to decorate a different theme every year. We are in White Rock - right by the Semiahmoo Mall.
