✨ Unicorn Piece 🦄 c1950s Pearl-Wick Clothes Hamper

This is one of the most unique and beautiful pieces we’ve seen! It is a c1950s vintage clothes hamper with a super convenient delicates compartment on top. Beautifully embossed vinyl on front and lid covering a black metal frame with a metallic charcoal | black shiny finish, embossed detailing that creates a truly retro look. Originally made by Pearl-Wick in New York NY. It has the original makers mark on the under side of the lid. The stainless steal handle compliments the retro finish so well. The fittings | hinges on top are in good, working condition. This piece is amazing! With just a few hours of love and a super small budget, this gem can be restored to almost original glory! Sadly, I haven’t made the time to flip this piece and it’s time to let it go 😔 (list of love needed below). Add this piece to your bathroom, or laundry room. It would be quite the statement piece for storing your laundry or if you are a DIYer, could be a cool bar cart conversion or cupboard if sorts - let your imagination lead! Here’s a breakdown of the love we believe this piece needs, however to make it usable, it only needs the bottom replaced. * It has four feet, however one has broken off (I glued it back on as a temp fix) * The metal trim needs a light sand and a repaint * fittings on top are fine, but a good scrub might bring back some luster * the interior of the lingerie compartment could use a repaint or sealer as there is some rust and you wouldn’t want that to transfer to clothes * OR convert the whole thing into a super cool bar cart or whatever else you envision for repurposing this unicorn piece! (PS Pearl-Wick hampers in good to great condition are selling for over $100 on eBay - that’s at least 50% profit on a flip!)
