Kutani Porcelain Tea Set With Dragon Moriage - 19 Pieces

Kutani porcelain tea set with dragon moriage, made in Japan. Lovely details include ferocious three-dimensional dragons encircling this elegant set, colored in black, orange, blue and white and highlighted in gold. The rims of these cups are of the thinnest and most delicate porcelain. And inside, there is a thin ring of gold to surprise the drinker. Set of 19 pieces, includes the following: 6 cups, 3.25" tall. 6 saucers, 5.5" wide. 6 lunch plates - 7.5" wide. 1 creamer, 3.5" tall. Signed "KUTANI CHINA", "HANDPAINTED", "JAPAN" and an image of Mount Fuji on underside. Seems to date from early to mid 20th century. In good condition, with light wear, seems mostly unused. There is one chip on the underside of one of the saucers, as shown. Smoke-free and pet-free environment. Thanks for looking and please check out our other items!
