Antique Chinese Silk Embroidery Tray Panel in Scalloped Frame

    Home & Garden ·

    $180

Beautiful vintage find! This is a hand-stitched Qing Dynasty Chinese silk embroidery panel, depicting five figures in traditional attire surrounded by flowers, birds, and clouds—all rendered in delicate satin stitching on black silk. The scene is full of movement and character, with lovely pastel colors that have aged beautifully. The embroidery itself likely dates to 1880-1930, and it was later preserved under glass in a custom 1970s scalloped wood frame—note the curved “cloud collar” shape and warm golden grain. The frame is solid wood (likely elm or camphor), and the whole piece measures 18 inches across and nearly 2 inches deep. 🖼️ It’s ready to hang with wire on the back, or you can lean it on a shelf as a stunning statement piece. A handwritten label on the reverse says it was gifted in 1971, making this a meaningful heirloom-style piece with layered history. 📏 Size: 18” diameter x 1 7/8” deep 🎨 Materials: Silk, wood, glass 📦 Ships insured and packed with care
