Antique Sewing Machine Stand

Vintage sewing machine stand, black, cast iron. The stand has a large treadle, with a rectangular cast iron plate that acts as a foot rest. It is stamped "NATIONAL M CO.", (National Machine Company was a pioneer in the manufacturing of sewing machines ((direct competitor to Singer)) and made them for a multitude of other brands too). I have a bookcase shelf resting on top. It needs a wider piece of material for the top. The width of the top: 12.75" Length of top and base: 21.25" The base a bit wider (than the top) at 16.25" Height: 28" The wheels work quite well and the unit is easy to move/ wheel around. The Treadle is in a fixed position. Pick-up only in the Greenwood & Danforth area. Payment: Cash only, please. (exact change, please)
