Bonfire sea glass necklace

A bright turquoise piece of very unique bonfire seaglass found on a Danish beach, placed on a 925 sterling silver snake chain necklace. Handmade 🧜🏻‍♀️ Bonfire glass is glass that has been heated so hot that it melts and loses its original shape, forming chunks of pitted glass. All it takes is someone to throw a glass bottle into a fire, heat is hot enough to melt the glass, and you have bonfire glass. Sometimes, if the fire wasn’t quite hot enough, you could find a piece that has lost its shape. These quirky, out-of-shape items from historical fires give them a HIGHLY unique character all of their own. Sea glass has many nuances and shades - they vary depending on how the light falls on it and what background it rests on. My sea glass is naturally ocean-tumbled, imperfectly shaped by the sea & hand collected. All my creations are handmade & elegantly placed on 925 sterling silver/gold plated jewelry. I don’t shape or tumble my sea glass so each piece is as found on the beach. Genuine sea glass is naturally shaped, ocean-tumbled and hand collected. It takes decades for a piece of sharp glass to tumble in the waves, sand & rocks to become perfectly smoothe like the pieces I use. The sea glass is genuine & therefore it will have minor imperfections and a slightly irregular shape. Slight imperfections in the glass are to be expected and are proof that it is pure sea glass. The shapes of pure sea glass are formed at random by the breaking of glass and the strength of the sea as each piece is tumbled in the waves and sand.
