Gosset sculptures reprint 15 years of dedication by Christoper Goisset to bring you distinctive and realistic reproductions of North America's Waterfowl in his own-unique and personal way. Once Gosset is satisfied with an original or master sculpture skilled artisans begin the task of reproducing the highly detailed and often complex creations. Molds are first taken from the artist's masters. Each piece is the cold cast using a specialized vacuum casting technique incorporating castings resins and natural medium fillers. The castings must then be carefully finished by a skilled technician using high speed texturing tools in preparation for hand painting. Finally, artists, trained in the field of water fowl painting, meticulous hand paint each piece. This often requires up to twenty-five colours and takes over sixty painting stages to complete.. Each sculpture, upon completion, becomes certified as a Gosset Wildlife Collection Limited Edition with the application of a personalized numbered plate.
