Do it yourself reassembly of an antique working grandfather clock. This is not an electric clock, the mechanism is powered by weights and springs All the parts and assembly hardware are there, except for the back box which houses the clock. That, you would need to build. The front of the clock is the door of the box, complete with hinges and protective round glass face, and are included. You would need some very basic wood working skills to make the back box. So you would need to make 2 sides, a top and bottom. and a back. For anyone interested in taking on this project, you will end up with a piece of Canadiana that will be a real conversation piece and give you the bragging rights for building it yourself. The mechanism comes from the working clock that was disassembled for moving purposes and was never reassembled after the move. Serious inquiries only please.
