Vintage 1990 Boss DS-2 Turbo Distortion (Early Taiwan / Germaniu

Spring cleaning. Selling my vintage 1990 Boss DS-2 Turbo Distortion pedal. I am the original owner and have taken great care of it over the decades. This is a highly sought-after "Early Made in Taiwan" model. Unlike modern versions, these early 90s units were built with the same germanium diodes as the original Japanese production, giving it that classic, fat "Turbo" tone made famous by Kurt Cobain and John Frusciante. Since 2005 retired from my pedal board and occasionally use for home recording projects. Works perfectly. I’ve tested on my pedal board with zero issues and fully operational. The internal 9-volt battery adapter clip shows some normal signs of wear from age but still functions. It runs flawlessly on a standard pedal board power supply. I’ve priced it so if someone truly wanted to use it as a singular stomp box they could for a few bucks, replace with a more modern 9 volt holder. Can verify by the circuit board date and the Germanium diodes (see pics) As the stickers wore off from vigorous use circa 90-95. Normal body wear consistent with a 30+ year old vintage pedal. No major damage. Video: tested on a Smokey battery operated amp that little green thing next to pedal using a 2006 Gibson Les Paul special with P-90’s in bridge pickup position. I used the pedal to get that Teenage Fan club “Bandwagonesque” crunchy fuzz and Weezer Blue Era fuzz in lieu of $1000 dollar amps as a junior high school kid on a budget back then.
