Galaxy TQ8 Powered Speaker BT new no battery

Galaxy TQ 8 powered speaker Brand New pretty much. bought it for a party. It's the version without the wireless transmitter, but has a spot for it. It has Bluetooth, It was taken out and used for a few hours. And put back in the box for a couple of years. And now the battery won't charge. So I removed it to make it lighter. Works on power.
