Meet George and Gracie. They began their lives in the Stargate Model Shop during the production of Stargate: SG-1 and Stargate: Atlantis. Martin was part of the team that built 30 of these corpses to be used on set whenever needed for a scene. While we were doing Pirate and hallowe’en events back in 2008, we were able to borrow them as set dressing for the events. In 2010, when the Stargate franchise had sadly come to an end, we were able to acquire them permanently and save them from a fate of being tossed in the dumpster. We were only able to save these two as we didn’t have the room to adopt them all. Times Past Entertainment and CarrHunger Creative continued to use them for a variety of events, including Fort Langley Hallowe’en events, Talk Like A Pirate Day, Parade of Lost Souls Vancouver, and Day of the Dead Monarch fundraisers. We now feel it’s time to give them a new loving home, as they no longer travel well due to the age of the latex, and we no longer have a permanent setup. We can’t keep dragging them to events and expect them to survive. We’d like to give them a longer life. They’re quiet, don’t eat much (actually nothing), and have no issues with being displayed in public. Dress them up any way you like. We’ve included some photos here from some of the events they’ve been used at, as well as on-set with Stargate. Details: George: $500 + shipping or delivery. Gracie: $450 + shipping or delivery. Both are anatomically correct laboratory skeletons, with skin made from liquid latex and cotton fibre-fill layers. Over the years, the latex has become a bit brittle and is crumbling in places. George has a removable lower leg, held by magnets. This was used in a scene in SG-1 where Teal’c reaches for the leg of a dead SGC soldier and it comes off in his hand. Gracie has been on screen as a Wraith corpse as well as a human one. Her right arm and leg have become detached over time. Both come with a Certificate of Authenticity. As we can’t really estimate the cost of shipping items of this size, please email us at sales@carrhunger.com before purchasing, to get a shipping or delivery (local to Toronto) price. Price could range from $30 to as high as $3000 depending on method and distance.
