This set is 💯 quality! Solid heavy walnut wood . They have been sanded down to natural wood and painted in a brown wash to let the beautiful grain pop through. They were then sealed with a durable top coat for protection while maintaining a modern yet durable flat finish. The price is extremely reasonable based on the quality and time spent refinishing. 10 years ago I sold a set just like these for 350$ but adjusted the price to make the more affordable with all that’s going on in this economy.
