Four vivid vintage needlepoint scenes, each framed in black with a muted green or blue mat. Together, they make a colourful gallery wall; each measures 13″ × 13″. Clarice Cliff was a celebrated British ceramic designer known for her bold colour and imaginative Art Deco landscapes. These needlepoints are said to depict scenes of her home and cottage, translated into woolwork. A label on the back of each reads “Clarice Cliff Farmhouse.” Very good vintage condition, with minor wear to the frames, mats and backing. Sold as a set of four.
