Japanese Geisha Watercolour Painting on Silk (unframed)

From a smoke and pet free home. Pick up in Westboro. Cash only. This original watercolour on silk depicts a Japanese geisha with an exceptionally beautiful face. Vibrant tones of fuschia and pink with softer oranges and greens are accented by small flecks of gold. The silk is mounted on a board and affixed to a fabric mat painted with a variety of Asian motifs. The whole painting is then highlighted by a light taupe mat. The total size is 16” wide by 20” high, unframed. I purchased several pieces from this artist in New York City but the colouring of this one turned out to be too vibrant for my decor. It has been stored in its mylar dust sleeve since then and is looking for a home where it can be enjoyed!
