Ultra rare set of 6 vintage Brazilian rosewood dining chairs with arms by renowned designer Johannes Andersen for Uldum Mobelfabrik. Made in Denmark in late 1960s. Sturdy, wider and taller than many other MCM designs for greater comfort. Professionally reupholstered recently - in amazing condition. Solid Brazilian rosewood - no veneer. Far more beautiful and expensive than teak. Brazilian rosewood was CITES listed as an endangered wood in 1992 - this wood with gorgeous grain and colour has not been exported from Brazil for many years.
