Stunning pair of vintage Joan & David Couture tall riding boots. Unlike the standard line, the Couture label represents the brand's highest level of craftsmanship. These were handmade in Italy (Lavorazione A Mano) and feature an incredible, rich cognac patina that only gets better with age. Equestrian Silhouette: A timeless, structured tall boot that hits just below the knee. Harness Detail: Features a leather wrap-around harness with hammered brass-tone studs for a subtle "Boho-chic" or "Western" flair. Premium Construction: Full leather interior lining and leather outsoles. Custom Upgrade: These have been professionally fitted with Vibram rubber half-soles and heel guards. This adds significant traction and protects the original leather soles from wear—an expensive upgrade already done for you! Upper: Excellent vintage condition. High-quality leather with natural character and very light creasing at the ankles. No major scuffs or deep scratches. Interior: Clean lining with "Joan & David Couture" and "Made in Italy" stamps clearly visible. Soles: Excellent. The Vibram protectors show very minimal wear and have decades of life left.
