NEPALESE BRONZE WATERPIPE (HOOKAH)

Bronze waterpipe (Hookah) with earthenware cup on top This beautiful and slightly weathered water pipe is made with a bronze base, an attachment piece for the bamboo or cloth pipe, a wooden body and a clay bowl on top. There used to be a pipe attached to the base but it has disappeared over time. Hookahs, especially wooden ones, are popular in Nepal where men and women enjoyed smoking it.
