First if you wanted to watch movies at home, your choice was VCR. It was the first step forward to be able to watch a movie at home. Then laser disk became the next viable option with much better quality and digital sound. I hopped on that option immediately and you don't know how many hours I spent enjoying all the movies that I bought. Unfortunately they cost anywhere between $80-$100 each at the time but I felt it was worth it. Then DVDs came out and people forgot about laser disk but there are still some people like myself that are hard-core fans of the laser disk era. I went out and bought the best lazer disc player available, which was the pioneer CLD-D704. One of the drawbacks of laser disk was when the movie was half over you had to get up and turn the desk over to play the rest of the movie with this player It automatically played both sides and continue to finish the movie on both sides of the disc. I have somewhere around 80 discs of every type of movie, including sci-fi, horror, drama, music, you name it. I have it all. Even one disc that helps you set up the color on your television. When I moved, I had to turn the desk on its side, which was a mistake. I'm not going to try to lie to you. The disc player needs an adjustment, but I'm sure it's not a big deal. You just have to find a qualified technician that knows what they're doing And you'll have one of the best laser disk players ever made. I'm getting older. I can't be bothered, so I'm looking to pass it on to someone else that can enjoy it. I'm not gonna take the time to list every movie that I have but take my word for it. You have a beautiful selection here, including a box set of every Star Trek movie And a live performance of Eric Clapton. I'm not willing to ship all of this that's why I'm trying to sell it locally come and get it. If this is something you think you would enjoy.
