I’ve only had the couch for 6 months. Very comfortable and soft. Material is polyester and is very easy to clean and maintain with simply wiping it using a microfiber and drys with no stain. The bottom cushion can be taken and is attached using velcro keep it in position. You can also zip off the covers to be cleaned if needed. The back cushion is fixed in position shown in the pictures.
