it's never great when your larger dog gets arthritis and looses strength in the back end. This harness (used only once for 1 minute).Support under the chest and abdomen allow for stiff and sore dogs to still go for walks while you carry some of the weight. My sister used it for 1 minute but her dog wasn't arthritic and it wasn't going to help with her dogs issue. I used a similar product to assist my 14 year old shepherd. it allowed her an extra six months of walks, her favorite thing.
