RARE 1918 WWI Gillette Old Type Razor - American Icon

THIS RAZOR WON WWI AND IT CAN STILL SHAVE. You are NOT looking at a reproduction. This is a 105+ year old Gillette Old Type Open Comb Safety Razor, Model 102, manufactured in U.S.A. HISTORY YOU CAN HOLD: King Gillette was told "impossible" in the 1890s. 1904 he patents it. 1917 America enters WWI, Army orders 3.5 MILLION of THESE razors because a clean shave saved lives in gas attacks. Every American doughboy carried this exact razor to France. This is why Gillette became a household name. DETAILS: • Solid Brass, Silver Plated, Gold Wash • Original Diamond Pattern Thin Handle (hollow, old-school construction) • Stamped "MADE IN U.S.A." + Gillette Diamond Trade Mark Logo • Serial 134021 A on guard plate • 3-Piece: Cap + Base Plate + Handle - all threads work perfect • Takes modern double-edge blades (Astra, Feather, etc.) - still shaves like a beast! Aggressive, loud, efficient - barbers love it. HONEST CONDITION (READ): One tooth is MISSING on the open comb guard - far right corner (see photo 2 & 8). That's its battle scar from 100 years of service. 13 of 14 teeth left - still shaves, still displays amazing. Also has honest patina, plating loss on top cap, and brassing - it's 100+ years old, not new. No cracks, handle is solid. Priced LOW because of the tooth - perfect ones sell $150-180. This is your entry to owning real WWI history. WHO IS THIS FOR? Wet shavers, military collectors, barbershops, man cave display, resellers. You don't own this, you are its caretaker for the next 100 years.
