Vintage Defiance (by Stanley) Plane - Made in USA

This is a vintage hand plane, most likely made by Stanley under the Defiance brand, presenting as a "lower cost" version of Stanley's planes. Manufactured in the USA, I have identified it by it's marking of C73 stamped on the body, and C116 stamped on the lever cap. Other models with these markings appear to have been made between 1929 and 1950. Perfect for serious woodworkers and collectors. 9.5" long.
