    Men's Fashion ·

    $120

Based on the M-1943 field jacket, the M-1951 Field jacket was a winter jacket produced by the US Army in 1951 (the M-50 was a transitional version). Models prior to the M-1950 were buttoned, with snap fasteners and zippers starting with the M-1951. The M-1951 could wear a standing collar for cold protection, a detail that was carried over into the later M-1965 field jacket. The M-1951 had button cuffs, a pointed collar and had a separate hood that buttoned onto the collar. We made the initial version of the M-1951 field jacket: Spec. mil-J-11448, made of cotton satin, color OD7, which will look vintage after wearing and washing. Point collar. Full-zip front. Snapped storm placket. Long sleeves with buttoned cuffs. Two chest snapped pockets. Two front waist snapped pockets. TALON brass plated tin zipper.YKK brass snaps. 12 oz. cotton sateen, 100% cotton. Pocket fabric is blended wool (50% wool, 50% polyester). Machine washable.
