Antique Japanese Meiji / Taishō Cloisonné Enamel Vase (As-Is)

Antique Japanese brass cloisonné baluster vase featuring delicate wirework fish-scale/cloud background patterning and glittering Ginbari foil-enamel heraldic Fleur-de-Lis motifs in emerald green, purple, and azure blue. Origin / Period: Japan (Meiji to Taishō era, c. late 19th to early 20th century) Technique: Cloisonné wire enamel on brass/copper with translucent foil underlay (Ginbari Shippo) Pattern: Fleur-de-lis emblems on a deep midnight black/dark ground Condition Details: Sold strictly as-is. The vase has an impact bruise on the shoulder resulting in chipped/missing enamel and spiderweb surface crazing around that side (clearly shown in photo #4). Displays very nicely from the intact front sides. Solid brass rim and base with natural age patina. Great historic decorative display piece or restoration/study project for antique Asian art collectors.
