Cremona SV-175 3/4 Violin (2007) with Hard Case

Up for sale is a pre-owned Cremona SV-175 Premier Student 3/4 Size Violin, crafted in China in 2007. The Cremona SV-175 is widely recognized by music teachers and school orchestra directors as one of the best-selling student violins. Built to meet NAfME guidelines, it features a solid, hand-carved spruce top combined with solid maple back and sides, offering a much warmer and more resonant tone than cheap laminated starter instruments. This 3/4 fractional size is perfect for developing young musicians typically between the ages of 9 and 11. Condition Details: • Violin Body: Good used condition with minor cosmetic signs of handling. The body is structurally sound with no open seams or cracks. The bridge and soundpost are in place. • Label Details: The internal label reads "Cremona Fecit Anno Domini 2007, Model: SV-175 3/4, Made in China". The serial number appears to be in the 300421 / 300471 range but is slightly faded. • Case: Includes the original sturdy Cremona plush-lined hard shell storage case, which is clean and fully functional. Included Accessories (Bonus): • Shoulder Cushion: Comes with a green foam shoulder pad/cushion for comfort. • Violin Rosin: Includes the original Hidersine 3V Violin rosin container. Please note: As shown in the photos, the amber rosin cake inside has cracked and broken into pieces. It can still be used in a pinch, but a replacement is recommended. Missing Items / Please Note: This listing DOES NOT include a bow. You will need to source a standard 3/4 size violin bow separately before the instrument can be played.
