WW2 era German cap skull

Collectors of militaria and amateur war historians, you’re in luck. Up for sale today is a first pattern Totenkopf visor cockade. This type of insignia was worn by members of the early SS until it was replaced with a different design. I believe this particular piece is made from stamped tombac (a brass alloy) and coated with a silver finish, some of which can be seen. No WW2 collection is complete without a few skulls, and they’re getting harder and harder to find now due to pressure from political groups. Asking for CAD $500 OBO.
