Exquisitely detailed vintage Japanese Satsuma earthenware vase featuring a finely hand-painted panoramic mountain village scene with traditional pagoda temples, courtyards, bridges, pine forests, and villagers in classical kimonos. Lavishly decorated with raised beaded enameling (moriage), heavy gilt brocade bands on the shoulder, a polychrome floral neck, and a geometric-patterned foot. Displays the classic finely crackled pale cream Satsuma glaze on the interior and base. Marked on the underside with an overglaze iron-red artisan studio mark and an old collection/exhibition label ("Splendors of Meiji - Treasures of Imperial Japan").
