In 1898, 3 brothers, a master carpenter, master bricklayer and master stone mason moved to Canada. My great-uncle had this ring made to celebrate their immigration. It is an old cut diamond with 2 sapphires set in white gold. Back when white gold was white. I included a more recent photo of another white gold piece so you can understand my meaning. This ring is over 120 years old now. My Great-uncle, grandfather and Dad wore it as a pinky ring. I will warn you it IS small by modern male standards and there is not much to allow resizing to a larger size. Currently, roughly, women's size 5 1/2. I have an old evaluation of the ring but Birk's said the HISTORY was worth more than the raw materials. I have stuff here for $2 & others that are worth more. If it is valued high, there's a reason.
