Made by the highly regarded Iida factory in Japan, this resonator banjo features a fully-aluminum pot and an integrated archtop-style tonering. It's a got a great clear sound to it, with a strong fundamental, airy "pop", and an overall balanced tone–not ear piercingly bright. Because of the aluminum used, this banjo is a very light weight instrument, especially compared to the heavyweight of a traditional bluegrass banjo. Just setup, the banjo is a breeze to play, with low action and no buzzing frets. It's strung with a new set of D'Addario 10 gauge nickel plated strings. Includes a soft case and strap. Pickup only. Located near Roncesvalles and Dundas Street West.
