High adhesive shear strength helps resist slippage and edge lifting on HSE plastics. Provides some repositionability on plastics for precise alignment of graphics and parts. General purpose adhesive transfer tape consists of a very thin adhesive layer only. It does not have a carrier like double-sided tape. The adhesive is applied to a surface and the pull-away liner is removed, exposing the adhesive for immediate bonding. This tape performs well on a variety of surfaces including metal, glass, wood, and paper. It is primarily used for light-duty mounting of signs, posters, picture frame mat boards, and dust covers.
